...make me...

Alright, so another Monday has come and gone. I find myself wishing that I had more days off and less days working. I wonder if there's any spectacular part-time jobs left out there? You know, the ones where you get paid 50,000 a year and you work one day a week? Ok, so I don't see myself getting hired to do "adult videos" or anything lucrative like that. And besides, the men don't get paid much to do that stuff anyway. Real shame really. But anyway, enough rambling, onto the real rambling!

A weekend, 3 whole days of it. What did I do? Not much. Friday and Saturday were a bit on the cold side, but thankfully Sunday was a bit warmer. That facilitated the ski hill activity enjoyment. That's right, I went snowboarding again. I also didn't spend my whole time on the bunny hill. Yep, I went to the top of the mountain. Sure it took me 15-20 minutes to make it down, but at least I did it. Nearly pulled my groin getting off the ski lift. You know you have to leave one foot attached to the board when you're on the lift? And then you kind of just put your loose foot on the board and slide off the lift? Insane I tell you! But I got it figured out mostly. Having boots that fit are definitely the way to go next time. I asked for 11's, got 11 1/2's and I regret that unfortunate mix up. On the bunny hill things were fine, but when I really got into the whole thing going down the big hill, I found that having a foot loose in the boot is really not desireable in any way. I ended up putting a lot of strain on that leg, and I only managed to get down the hill about 3 times before my leg couldn't take anymore. Of course, two trips down with the bigger boots, and one down with a 10 1/2 boot. At that point it didn't make much different because my legs were already tired from that extra effort. Damn loose boot. But all in all it was a fun outing. I was invited to go again next weekend with a different friend, but I have to work that weekend. The guy works the same shift as me, but stupid him, I didn't book Saturday off! Some people don't think...

Speaking of which, today had a slow bit, so I had the opportunity to do a callback report. That's basically taking a look back at a call where a person called us back within 72 hours. You then see if you could've controlled the callback, and hopefully you learn something. Well let me tell you, I certainly learned something. PEOPLE ARE STUPID. Yes, that's right, I said it. People are quite stupid when it comes to computers. Why on earth would you call your INTERNET TECH SUPPORT when your phone doesn't work? Just because it's sharing a splitter with your internet connection, would want your INTERNET TECH SUPPORT to troubleshoot a phone issue? Honestly. If you don't know what the hell you're doing, don't call us. If you don't know how to right click on something, go take a damn computer course! Seriously, it should be mandatory for people to take a basic computer course when buying a PC. They should force a 5 day waiting period and proof of course to purchase a computer. Infact, if you don't know what a desktop is by now, take your damn computer back to the store.

Ahhh... They really should let us drink, or give us a free beer after our shift or something. I give a guy a parcel number. Here's your CANADA POST parcel number sir. Your modem is on it's way, if you need to know where it is, call CANADA POST to see where it is. 5 minutes later, the guy calls back, wants to know where his modem is. That makes me look bad. I want to go to his house, and punch him in the head. Can I do that? Sure can, I got his address, phone number, credit card number, full name... Shit, I'm going to take out a loan in his name or something. Better yet, who wants to go on a road trip? Grr to them.

So to unwind after a day like that, I came home, zapped some pizza, and watched Shaun of the Dead. Now that made me feel better. An orgy of zombies disembowling a poor idiot victim and eating his guts... Very nice. Two thumbs up. If you like gross and sick movies, definitely go rent this one, download it, buy it, whatever, just watch it!

So that's my day/weekend. I'm on a 3 day stint at work and then it's a Thurs/Fri off before an evil Saturday/Sunday/Monday 3 days. Damn weekends are 2 until midnight too. Ick.

Would you like a velamint?
