I want to start off by saying I love 4 day work weeks. That's because there's always a 3 day weekend involved somewhere! And best of all, this Friday is a pay day! Day off, lots of cash... That could be a bad thing considering the thoughts in my head. New car perhaps?

Now that my sister isn't planning on making me move out with her, I will not have the luxury of splitting her car payments with her for access to her car, so I just might have to get my very own. Great! But which one to choose... I have the whole day off, so I figure I can

A) plan a budget

I'm going to need to know how much I can afford a month! I've got a rough number in my head, but rough is not good. I need to take a nice sanding block to my forehead if I go by those numbers! I'm sure I'd have a few volunteers. Anybody have "A fool and his money" ringing in their ears? I swear that woman doesn't even have to say it. Of course, then she thinks about it and having access to a car in the AM while I sleep to go do her little old lady things wouldn't be so bad! Anybody see any "Octogenarian on board" window stickies? Hehe...

B) lease or buy

Well this is more or less a no-brainer. It's my first car and I'm sure that in what, 4 or 5 years I'll hopefully be able to get a better car, and in the time being, this car will have to do. With a lease like that, everything will have to be covered. I don't want to mess around with repairs or oil changes and what not. I want a car, and I want to drive it. That's what they're for. Some other shmuck will fix it.

C) what kind of car

By far the hardest choice. There's just so many of them, and most of which aren't even in my price range. I wouldn't mind a good deal on a 2004 Matrix, but I doubt that will happen. Can't hurt to look I guess, but I don't have my hopes up at all. Hey, does this mean they will let me test drive cars too? :D

So anyway, that's my imediate future. Also involved is the bathroom being constructed to my right. On this side it looks like an empty white wall asking for a spongebob poster. I think I might get it done up like the uncle did. Yeah... It's really nice the way he has it done up.

I wonder if there's a way to re-arrange the basement to take advantage of this new wall... I'm sure the set-up I have now is optimal, but I wouldn't mind having the TV in the little niche that the bathroom wall is creating. Oh well, maybe when things are all settled I can think about it.

And yes, I'm still at the same crummy job. Nothing very exciting happening on that front. I'm still scrapping by on sales, and I'm just trying to meet the latest requirements of the day. Say, you wouldn't be interested in a digital bundle would you? Let me know, I could use the help. :D
