He married, at Lansingburg, Rensselaer County, New York, 29 June 1866, Ophelia Adelaide, daughter of Mason and Dorcas (Conant) Laselle, who was born 5 April 1841. She married as her first husband, George Hotchkiss/Hotchkin of Lansingburg, New York.
This family removed to Lawrence, Nuckolls County, Nebraska, where they were living in 1900.
