He married Lodice "Sadie" Wilson, who was born 1781 in Belchertown, Hampshire County, Massachusetts, daughter of Guild and Ruth (Ward) Wilson, and died 14 March 1853 at Hartford, New York.
In 1830, Lodice, a widow by then, was living with five of her children in Hartford; by 1850, at age 69, she was living with her son John, a farmer, and her daughter Ruth, both of whom were unmarried.
The correct birth order of the children is not known due to lack of birth dates.

351 Martha, b. 1800; d. 13 Dec 1875; m. Fredus A. Ryan. In 1830 Fredus and Martha had one son, aged 5-10. By 1870 she was a widow and living in Cambridge in Washington Co., NY, with William C. Ryan, age 45, a farmer and probably her son; Lewis Ryan, age 39, a farmer and likely another son; and Lydia A. Ryan, age 32, who may have been either her daughter or the wife of William or Lewis. Also living with them was Martha's sister, Ruth (#357), age 49.

Benjamin is listed as a "waggonmaker" and blacksmith in Hartford and Hebron, Washington Co., NY. He was married to Delia Hall in 1850; in 1860, his wife is listed as Ruth A., age 34, not Sarah. Also, the Hartford cemetery records indicate that he married Mary ____, who may have been Phebe.
