Simeon Oatman (203)

Simeon (Peleg, Daniel, George, John, Johannes), son of Peleg and Sarah (Millington) Oatman, was born at or near Arlington, Bennington County, Vermont, 8 March 1799, and died 6 July 1893 at the age of 94. He married ca 1822/23, Martha Miller, born 4 September 1805 in Cayuga, Cayuga County, New York, and died 14 December 1891, aged 86. Simeon was a master carpenter and joiner. Their first five children were born in Arlington, Bennington County, Vermont, and the last seven were born in Ontario County, New York.
