CAMELOT CD HELP FILE
I.
REQUIRED AND RECOMMENDED SPECIFICATIONS
In order to run Dark Age of Camelot, you must meet
the following minimum requirements:

An IBM PC or 100% Compatible Computer with a Pentium II 450
MHz processor or better.

128 Megabytes of system RAM.

A hard drive with 650 MB of free disk space.

A keyboard and a Microsoft compatible mouse.

Windows 95/98/Me or 2000.

DirectX 8.0 or higher.

A DirectX certified 3D accelerated video card with 16 MB of
video RAM. (Please note that Dark Age of Camelot does not support Voodoo 1 or
Voodoo 2 video cards. Unpredictable results will occur if these cards are used. Dark Age of Camelot will run on some more
recent Voodoo-based cards but you may experience performance issues.)

A DirectX certified sound card.

An Internet
connection.
For best performance we recommend that you have the
following:

An IBM PC or 100% Compatible Computer with a 1 GHz
processor.

256 Megabytes of system RAM.

A DirectX certified 3D accelerated video card with 32 MB of
video RAM.

A High-Speed Internet
connection (DSL, Cable, LAN, etc.)

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
Starting the Installer application
Place your CD in your CD-ROM drive. If you have auto-run enabled you should see
the Installer application start. If you
do not have auto-run enabled or the Installer application does not start,
left-click on the Start button on the Windows Desktop, then left-click on
“Run…”, then type D:\installer (where D is the drive letter for your CD-ROM)
and press the Enter key. With the
Installer application running you can install DirectX and Dark Age of Camelot.
Installing DirectX 8.0
Dark Age of Camelot requires installation of DirectX
8.0 or higher. If you need to update your version of DirectX, left-click on the
“Install DirectX” button and follow the instructions provided.
Installing Dark Age of Camelot
To install Dark Age of Camelot, left-click on the
“Install Game” button. The game
installer should start. If the game
installer does not start, left-click on the Start button on the Windows
Desktop, then left-click on “Run…” then type D:\setup (where D is the drive
letter for your CD-ROM) and press the Enter key. When the game installation program starts follow the instructions
provided.
