Intermountain Rail Resources

________________________________________________________________________________________________

-Why do we offer a section devoted to those of you who chose to spend your free time staring at passing trains?  Because we do it too.  Many of us here at Intermountain are here because we love the work, the atmosphere, and the equipment.  We believe that our enthusiasm for what we do every day translates into better, more efficient service for our customers, and we are proud of what we have accomplished so far.  In an age when rail service has been written off as complicated and obsolete, we at Intermountain continue to find ways to provide fast, dependable, and hassle-free service for you and your business, and one of the ways we can do this is by making sure that we are well equipped to serve you.  In today's rapidly changing world, flexibility and reliability are key.  We have addressed these concerns by purchasing newer, more cost effective locomotives, and by ensuring that our equipment pool is capable of catering to a wide variety of transportation needs.  The diversity of the industries we serve makes our railroad a very colourful and interesting place.  We hope you think so too.

Spotter's Guide

This is where you can learn about the equipment we rely on each and every day.  Our railroad has an interesting family tree, and this spotter's guide will help you to learn more about it.  For all you modellers out there, this section will attempt to outline the basic detail differences of our power pool, including modifications and livery.  We think you'll enjoy re-creating these locomotives just as much as we enjoy operating them.

For your reference, this list will provide classifications, road numbers, and heritage of our power pool.
