She rocked me so gently, and whispered to me, a mother`s sweet song of love tenderly.

In arms that could hold back the night`s tide, she held me fast, to her loving side.

Softly, and caring most gloriously, she, in turn, awakened

the mother in me, but still after time and all these years,

I rock in her arms,

when my eyes fill with tears
