Next is Ross with "Dock Of The Bay"

Matt – This is one of my favorite songs…and you did a great job. This is definitely the best I have heard you. Good.

Kelly - I LOVE this song!! There’s still a bit of echo but so far it’s not as overpowering. I really like the sound of your voice, but when you hold your notes, it almost sounds operatic. It sounds unnatural and like there’s a forced vibrato. Try to just sing the note and don’t hold it. And don’t add vibrato, just let it happen. I know, easier said than done, but sometimes just letting it happen naturally sounds REALLY awesome. Overall though, good job.

Now we have Thomas singing "My Girl"

Matt – Not your best, but still okay. Like Kelly said, this song won’t kill you, but I know you can do better, I hope you show that next week.

Kelly - I love listening to your clips. I don’t think you’re the best singer, but you’re so cute to listen to. I don’t think Motown is your genre (or atleast that song isn’t your song) but good attempt. It was pitchy. I like how you sang it differently though. I highly doubt this song will kill you, but try extra hard next week ;) Good try.

And finally we have Stephanie with "That's What Friends Are For"

Matt – I’m glad you learned how to do the music with the mic and everything, but as Kelly said, back away from the mic! You were way too close. But overall the vocals were good. I definitely like hearing you better with music. Overall, good job.

Kelly - 1st tip – back away from the mic just a bit. Usually being close to it is good, but I think you’re too close. Good song choice, not one you’d think of as Motown but when you think of the singer, it works. Like last week, I don’t think this was your best performance, but like Thomas, I don’t think this will kill you. Again like last week, I suggested maybe something that would fit in your chest register. Try that next week.
