What Wave Issue 12

Published March 1987 with another cassette, this one called "Wave From The Grave 2". Featured a scary cover from Kit Carson whom we met at the Toronto WW benefit show. This ish sold out really quickly, no idea if it was the cover (skeletons and skulls were in style back then) or it had something to do with the fact that there was a cassette tape with the ish. Marketing geniuses we are certainly not.

This ish had interviews with Boy From Nowhere, 10 Commandments, Dundrells, Janice K (amazing female Elvis clone that we would continue to have a long relationship with), Three O'Clock Train and Blood On The Saddle. Articles on Montreal scene, Gruesomes, Purple Toads, Tell Tale Hearts, Royal Nonesuch, 60's flix, Cramps, Klepstones, Rusty and Doug Kershaw, Projectiles, Lost Patrol (another band we would continue to have a long relationship with), Dogmatics and a pile of other stuff. Also included an amazing 2 page comic spread by Dave Clarke that caricatured the song 'Hey Sheriff' as performed by Rusty and Doug and London's coolest band, the Sci-Phonics. Long out of print.
