A delicate image of a maidenhair fern (Adiantum). I thought that Adiantum indusium was the correct botanical name but Steven J. Wolf, the photographer, tells me that "indusium" is not part of the botanical name, rather "false indusium" is a structure visible in the image. The image is the copyrighted work of Steven J.
