She
took an essense most powerful
from the deepest imagination
casting itself
(sorrowful)
into an aloneness imagined in his heart
and
lit it afire
with a look
(and smile)
and
blazed the phantoms all back
(at least a million miles)
into the nothing they took
yes, she did,
with just a look
where she had made for him
before the start
a huge tiny place and set it apart
so that he might see
there in a tiny book
which she had marked
inside the world in her hand
that erased all space
just took it all apart
leaving no trace
in the universal sand
inside the hand that held his fears
as if they were birds
muttering about flying
(drowning in invisible magic tears)
into the inevitable dying
so changed now in the purple lights
upon her heart
there upon there
until there is no more crying
nor myths about dying
She let her knowledge convince him that he could
indeed should hold the living tree aloft under the circled and twisted
snake
and bring forth and make a civilised face upon the infinite and unpredictable
motions
that where trying to take
a control of sorts
in a billion billion
fractuals
then
so different from plain entrophy
going somewhere back
where they had always always been
Oh, yes, when
the art of money
and the love of stuff
was enough
and
the heart could see nothing but
the great distances everywhere
and found out
that it could never never
speak what it knew*
