The Craft House is a gift and craft shop situated in downtown Caledon East.

Saturday 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Sunday 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
It is recommended that everyone
pre-register for all classes, as space
is limited.

ADULT CRAFT CLASSES

Knit a Christmas Stocking
Learn to knit a beautiful Christmas stocking using your choice of two colours. This is the perfect project to make for yourself, family or friends. This class is recommended for intermediate and advanced knitters. Session runs 3 nights.

Fee: $35.00 (includes yarn, double-pointed needles and circular needles 16 in (40 cm) long, all in size 7 US (4.50 mm), pattern and instruction) Deduct $15.00 if you bring your own needles.

Knitting Club
A support group for knitting enthusiasts. Trade patterns, ideas and techniques with other knitters while creating new items. Be the first to preview new yarn and patterns in the store.

Fee: N/C

When: every Tuesday
1:00 – 3:00 p.m.

NOTE: October’s project of the month is knitting a Christmas Stocking. This project is optional.

Cross Stitch for Beginners-1
Learn the basics of counted cross stitch while completing a decorative band on a tip towel for your bathroom. Choose between afternoon or evening session.

Fee: $20.00 (includes pattern, towel, needle, floss and instruction to complete your project)

When: Wednesday, September 24
1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
and 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.

Cross Stitch for Beginners-2
This project is similar to Beginners – 1, however, we are stitching a kitchen huck towel in this project.

Fee: $20.00 (includes pattern, towel, needle, floss and instruction to complete your project)

When: Wednesday, October 8
1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
and 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.

Jewelry Making
Create a stunning bracelet using decorative beads of various sizes for casual or dressy occasions. Jewelry designer and creator Nathalie Andrews will take you through the steps to easily create your own jewelry in just one evening.

Fee: $25.00 (includes beads, string and instructions to complete your project)

Bracelet Beading for Beginners
Learn how to bead bracelets using fall coloured seed beads, fishing line and metal clasps. Each person will complete at least 2 bracelets during the session. Students must be at least 10 years old. Space is limited to 6 participants.

Fee: $15.00 (includes, beads, fishing line, clasps and instruction)

Make a Fall Mirror
Take a piece of wood, fall decorations, mirror, ribbon and paint to create this decorative accent piece for your bedroom. . Choose from 2 dates to participate. Space is limited to 8 participants.

Fee: $20.00 (includes all supplies and instruction)

Make & Paint Wooden Characters
Learn how to create a cat and frog with wooden pieces, glue and paint in just 2 hours. Join 14 year old Toni Rose as she demonstrates how a little imagination can make wooden pieces come together.

When: Saturday, September 27
10:00-12:00 p.m.

Halloween Craft
paint a special Halloween decoration. Add glitter to the finished product to really make it shine. Space is limited to 8 participants

Fee: $15.00 (includes decoration, paint, glitter and instruction to complete project)

When: Sunday, October 19
1:00-3:00 p.m.

Carve & Paint a Pumpkin
Design and cutout a face for your pumpkin and then paint an image to enhance the face.
NOTE: Children will be supervised while using cutting tools.

Fee: $15.00 (includes a real pumpkin, paint and all tools to complete the project)

When: Sunday, October 26
1:00-3:00 p.m.

Create a Christmas Pin, Necklace and 2 Ornaments
Join guest instructor Nancy as she guides children as they create decorative Christmas decorations. - 1 snowman pin and necklace, 1 snowman and 1 Santa ornament. A great craft for children of all ages. Space is limited to 10 participants.

Fee: $20.00 (includes wooden pieces, paint, glue, embellishments and instruction to complete project)
