You must remember this

Okay, not everyone will remember some of this crazy (yet important) moments, but others will, and these will probably be memories that I will remember for a lifetime to come!

Getting locked in the classroom
This occurred either when I was in year two or year three (September 1990-July 1992), in Class 2. Actually I don't think the memory was being locked in the classroom, more so of being locked in the passage way between the classroom and the playground. And that's about all I remember from it. So maybe it didn't happen after all and its a memory that I have remembered from a nightmare.

Going down the zip slide
This was at a Adventure Park that various students from my school visited in May 1994. Looking back, I don't know why I went as I was a chicken and didn't do very much. Anyway, on the last day everyone got to choose what we wanted to do and everyone figured that I should do something to say that the week was actually worthwhile. So in the end I went down the zip slide in the woods of the park, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. So maybe the week wasn't a waste of time after all.

My first flight
Since and including my first flight, I have flown a total of seven times. My first flight, however, is probably the most memorable memory that I have. Can you imagine a 13-year-old (okay, it was 2 days before my 14th birthday if you want to be thatspecific), flying for the first time? I didn't know what to expect, what to think, what to feel. I was absolutely nervous, as you would expect someone in my position to be. Mum had even needed to go to the doctor's to prescribe some medicine that would calm me down if needs be. Anyway, when boarding the plane, with the exception of some rather large butterflies in my stomach, I wasn't too bad. But get on the plane and find that your plane isn't going to leave the runway for a while... then I started to get nervous! Its not a nice feeling, especially when you don't know what to expect. But as you can see, nearly five years later, I'm here writing this, I must have survived!

Newquay!
Ooooh, Newquay!! :) The memories of my solo shopping trip with two of my favourite relatives, T and B (you know who you are, maids!) It started out as a good day, we got a ride there and spent the morning shopping for various items - it was a good excuse to get all our back-to-school items, and other things. However, I ruined it... I phoned my mum to come and pick us up and we got our wires crossed - we were meant to meet at the train station not the bus station, and when we realised this it was pouring with rain and we had to head there ourselves because Mum didn't want to come and find us. I apologise profoundly for getting T and B wet, but at least B made T and myself feel loads better by laughing constantly.

Moving house
Okay, I know moving house isn't a big deal... but moving some 3000 miles is! It was a hetic experience, I was without some of my favourite CDs for six weeks, I was without some of my posessions that I needed; basically because when the removal people boxed up my room I was conveniently out of the house. I had what I didn't need, and didn't have what I needed. So when I finally got my boxes, I was over joyed having all my prized possessions again. However, some two and a half years later, I am still living out of a box, but I must confess that it is no where near as bad as the rest of my family.

Graduation
First off. It was hot the whole of graduation week. My brother's graduation was hot. Mine was even worse. Imagine this: You're sitting at the back of the stage underneath the stage light, while the principal is standing to the side, with a fan behind his back. How rude?! Granted the my fellow graduates and I were able to sip bottles of water to keep us cool, but why couldn't we have access to a fan? Anyway, the meals were great - there really was nothing to complain about; by miracle my brother's grad meal was different from mine so there was nothing repeated. I must pay my gratiude to my friend Cody - Thank You - for stepping up to be my grad escort literally 24 hours before I was due to graduate. You're a lifesaver - I owe you one. The party was good - I was there for six hours, and thoroughly enjoyed myself, I have good memories of it but I won't go into any of that otherwise I'll be here all day!

Must not forget little things that have happened at college. Some of the people there have made the time pass by quicker during slower lectures! Remember that every day is a memory. Some days, and some memories are more memorable than others, but that does not mean that you will not remember at least one significance event from every day of your life.
