Genealogy is a fascinating hobby that can be as simple or as complicated as you care to make it.  I have been researching my family tree and it amazes me the information you can find about ancestors who lived hundreds of years ago.

The main branches of my family tree are:  Dionne, Meilleur, Beaulieu, and Rancourt.  Other branches include Paradis, Ouimet, Tellier, Barbeau, Cote, Berube, Montpetit, Rainville, Dufresne, Methot, and Michaud.

My heartfelt thanks to the wonderful people at the Niagara Regional branch of La Société Franco-Ontarienne D'Histoire et de Généalogie for their help and encouragement, especially Renee and Lorraine.  My thanks also to the people I've met online who have shared research and information with me, and also to those who share their gedcoms at such sites as Ancestry.com, Rootsweb, and Genealogie.org.
