UPDATES

The Family Tree - July 2007
I have just completed updating the entire site with research information, and additions to the Tree. In particular, I would like to thank Elizabeth Janson for allowing me to include her research to the Furneaux family. Matilda Mary Taggett and Joseph Hicks granddaughter Beatrice Pascoe married William James Furneaux. You will find a link back to Elizabeth's web site on the family pages, as well as on Page 2 of the "Thanks" section.

2007 Hard Copy of the Family Tree
On July 10th I have just completed the Word Documents (hard copy) of the Family Tree, and will gladly send the materials in a zip file to anyone who asks - as my gift. This year I decided to do something different. I have produced the book according to the lines. There are separate sections for the descendents of Josiah, William, Matilda and Henry, each complete with a generation and names index.

Roper, Taggett
In February 2007, I was overjoyed to be contacted by Julia Clarke who has provided me with the details of Matilda Taggett's marriage to John Sayers Roper. Matilda was the daughter of Josiah Thompson Taggett and Grace Moon Spiller. This was the last brick wall of that family.

Stevens, Taggett
Further brick walls were solved upon having contact with the family of Emma, eldest daughter of Josiah Taggett and Grace. She was registered at birth as Emma Tagget Spiller, and Emma Jaggett on the marriage registration record. I am sincerely grateful to Philip and Wendy Stevens for sharing their family history.

Baskerville, Taggett
In January 2006 I was delighted to find that my great-aunt, Maud Mary Taggett married Joseph H. Baskerville, in Devonport, Devon, England. The marriage was registered during the December Quarter of 1913 on the England and Wales Civil Registration Index.

Bassett, Edwards, Price

Burnell Family
Roy Burnell is the great-grandson of Henry Charles Burnell. In March 2005 he kindly provided me with an update for Enid Muriel Burnell, the the daughter of William Charles Burnell and his wife Eliza Taggett. A photograph of Dame Enid Lyons is also among the photographs.

Ford Family
In July 2005 Charmaine Eva Atkins Brown provided me with the family her grandparents, Arthur Edward Ford and Alice Emma McCracken. A photograph of the wedding of her grandparents has also been added.

Garrard Family
Stephen Geoffrey Garrard, grandson of Annie Louisa Tagget, provided updates for his family in December 2004.

Hocking Family
Warren Loxley is Edith Hocking's 6th cousin, twice removed - 7th cousin, twice removed - and 8th cousin, twice removed. Due to his kindness I was able to include both of Edith's parents, and her siblings to the Tree on May 5, 2005.

Horton Family
Jessie Jane Horton was the wife of George Taggett, the son of Josiah Thompson Taggett and Grace Moon. Due to the research of Pamela Flitter I was able to add Thomas Horton and Jane Mary Vivian who were Jessie's parent, as well as Jessie's siblings.

McCracken Family
Charmaine Brown is the great-granddaughter of Smith McCracken and Lavinia Taggett, and granddaughter daughter of Alice Emma McCracken. In March 2005 Charmaine provided me with a copy of the Marriage Certificate for Henry Tagget and Louisa Orchard; as well as the Death Certificates for Henry  and her great-grandmother Lavinia McCracken.

Pascoe Family
Ann Pascoe, granddaughter of Joseph Hicks and Matilda Mary Taggett, married Clarence Irwin Aquilla Lee, son of Hezekih Lee and Rachael Ann Stair, on 27 Jul 1910 in Perth, Western Australia. My sincere thanks to John Johnston of Grafton, New South Wales, Australia for sharing his research results.

Price Family
Dorothy Elliott of Florida has provided me with the details of the 1901 Census in England that pertain to the children of Mary Moon Taggett, and her husband Charles Price including the marriage of Maud Mary Price to William John Edwards and their children, as well the birth of several children to born to parents Jane Price and her husband, Henry Skilton.

Price Family/Clift
My thanks to Colin Gibson,son of Elsie Price, and great-grandson of Mary Moon Taggett who has provided me with updates to the Price Family that extend back to the family of Thomas Price and his wife Priscilla Clift.
