Stage One

    Ephesians 1:4-6 tells us that God"chose us in Christ before the foundation of the worldto be holy and blameless before Him in love.He destined us for adoption as chilhren through Jesus Christ according to the good pleasure of His will,to the praise of His glorious grace that He freely bestowed on us in the beloved."

    God's love for us in the absolute starting point of salvation.It is not we who have chosen God,but God who has chosen us.God sent his son to reveal this love to the world and reconcile the world back to God through the love expressed in his faithful obedience to God's will.

    In John 3:16,we read,"for God so loved the world that He gave his only Son,so that everyone who believes in Him may not perish but may have eternel life.So stage one shows God initiating the fulfillment of his eternal plan.It is God's choice prior to any movement of faith or wwill on our part.God reaches out in love to save the world by sending his Son.
