The Sports Committee raffled off four prizes on Wednesday January 23, 2002, thus completing the process which started in early December. The top prize, a Steve Shutt signed jersey, was won by SOLA teacher Aeshwarya. The well known teacher was not sure who Shutt was but was nonetheless very happy. Three of the four prizes were won by teachers including James C. and Patricia Harper. James won the Body Shop gift basket while Patricia took home a restaurant gift certificate. Emily Goldin also won a prize in the drawing. It is expected that the raffle produced over $100 for the Sports Committee.
