APRIL 2001

"The Conductor" Graham "Big Mac" MicMcIntosh

  Real Name: Graham McIntosh

First Appearance: May 2000 sinister.jpg (16153 bytes)

ORIGIN

An anarchist from the distant future, G.M. came to the 20th century to confront those who's actions in the past made him what he was. Created in the "Days of Future Past" time period, G.M. was inadvertently sent to the present through a time portal. After being re-born in a homo-sapien body, as it was his only way to time travel if he were re-born, G.M. had secret intentions of obtaining a homo-superior body & skills at a very young age in Vancouver. It came to no surprise that he found what he was looking for 15 years later; The Cytorrak Gem.

G.M.'s powers are mystical in origin. G.M. came in contact with a mysterious ruby which he discovered in an Asian temple during his brief stint in the Canadian military. The gem invested anyone who touched it with the power of the god Cyttorak, turning G.M. into an unstoppable living engine with the ability to smash through any barrier, and making him immune to pain and injury. The power that "The Conductor" now has, has programmed him to exterminate opposing players on a cosmic scale.

G.M. believes in the survival of the fittest, and is not above engineering events to weed out the unfit. With the increasing frequency of super-powered beings on the planet, he sees no further use for plain ol' humans and does not factor them into his survivalist philosophy.

With G.M. and Cyttorak's gem now one, G.M. is more powerful than ever, and may even be immortal as he heads into the 2001 season.

Influences: Graham's influences in his hockey style come from many mentors. Clutch play just like Gilmour and most noticeably replicates the exact play style of Mats Sundin.

Un-influences: Hossa, Turtle Neck Yashin, Claude Lemieux, Hasek, Donald "Duck Face" Brashear and obviously Marc "Mickey Mouse" Crawford.

Height: 6'1

Weight: 178 lbs.

Currently Resides: Stonehart, Ontario, Canada.

Hometown: North Vancouver B.C.

Career Highlights: Winning the Solar Roller Cup in August. Also earning the temporary nickname "Christmas Ape" after scoring the Controversial Christmas Ape goal on November 11th in overtime to take the "Oldtimers vs. New Blood" game in overtime. Final score 10-9 for the Crazy Train.

Known For: World reknown for being the SGHA's most exciting player. G.M. is constantly getting breakways. Has the ability to skate through grade 'A' defenses using top speed and flashy dekes. Intensity. Posesses Destro-like steel solidness in games. Invented and popularized the term "Top Corner Hockey." Also invented and revolutionized "The Sputnik." Big celebrations after each victory. The only player in SGHA history to perform "Shoot the Duck" after a goal. Takes more slapshots than any other player in league history. Stickhandling skills are among the immortal. Big Mac has a startling vast knowledge of the Marvel Universe, in which he can make references and comparisons to during games, with the majority of players not knowing what he is talking about. terrax2.jpg (16153 bytes)

Weakness: Gets extremely mad and throws stick around after losing. Argues with A-Train when things aren't going well for the Crazy Train. Also if his Cytorrak helmet comes off, he is vulnerable to lose the game.

Words to live by:

"Obviously I am going to be happy with the ice time, but I am not going to say that I am happy just to be here because I have a chance to play. I came from a winning situation to a situation where we want to win. That is more important to me right now."

- G.M. before the Fall Brawl: War Games extravaganza event in December.

"Such overwhelming emotions breed carelessness. Carelessness breeds mistakes. Mistakes make my victory... that much easier."

- G.M. explains the benefits of being an emotionless robot while trashing the Gamblers in November 2000.
