The Future is X-Rated Yes, I am part of the problem.
Real Name: Garrick McIntosh
First Appearance:
May 2000
ORIGIN:
North Vancouver B.C.
Currently Resides:
Stonehart, Ontario, Canada
Status:
Captain
Height:
6'1'
Weight:
164 lbs.
An all-Canadian kid from the west coast, McIntosh was destined to become
the "chosen one" because of his tremendously high IQ and natural
"sixth sense" for the game of hockey... At an unknown point in
time estimated to be between January 1990 and April 2000,
the Canadian government's secret Department H took then private
citizen Garrick McIntosh captive and gave him the power(s) of super-human
stamina, metabolism and speed. Because of this, he will never again become
tired or hurt during SGHA gameplay. It is both scientifically
and physically impossible for Garrick to feel fatigued in any
capacity.
Rarely in a single lifetime does a player come along with the talent, desire, cunning, drive, leadership, passion and intensity that Garrick McIntosh brings to each and every game.
The ultimate hockey machine. A diabolical mastermind. He will beat you with brainpower or raw skill. Pick your poison.
Today, Captain McIntosh realizes that with
great power, comes great responsibilty.
He uses the gifts given to him in a precise,
calculated manor: to destroy and eradicate the
Crazy Train and more furthermore, indirectly help the
Toronto Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup.
Known For:
The most hardcore of all the players in the Stonehart Gardens Hockey Association, the Pit Boss is known for his complete and unparalleled dedication to hockey. Captain McIntosh can elevate the play of those around him at the blink of an eye. Years of intense training have made Garrick the SGHA legend he is today.
His speed is a devasting weapon. He uses it to cross the entire surface of Stonehart Gardens in a matter of seconds. Has never missed a game in SGHA history.
One of the original Gamblers, he is also the only team captain in the long and glorious history of the Gamblers Hockey Club. Holds the Gambler Matrix of Leadership, granting him the wisdom of great Maple Leafs from days gone by
Changed his alias from Shifty to Pit Boss to begin the 2001 season, to go along with the Gamblers' "Bruno Ridge Bullies" theme. The biggest hitter in SGHA history.
CBHL Hall of Famer.
Favorite players:
Wendel Clark, Mats Sundin, Darcy Tucker
Signature move:
Can link up interdimensionally to a black hole and draw anti-matter from it for use as the Nuclear Reprisal Inbound From Outer Space. A horrifyingly efficient backhand-sweep-deke type of move. Seeing as though the only player capable of stopping the NRIFOS is a part of the Gamblers, J-MAC, the move is in theory, unstoppable.
Weaknesses:
In the spirit of our retired hero Bryan Berard, the Pit Boss enjoys the coast-to-coast mad dash. It is speculated that he can be caught out of position if a turnover occurs during the rush...but that's all speculation at this point. That theory aside, his shooting accuracy, or lack thereof is his only known weakness.
WORDS TO LIVE BY:
"Seems to me like the entire organization is on the same page now. From top to bottom, we all know what has to be done around here for us to be successful. Losing should be a foreign concept to us. I don't know how to deal with it, and I shouldn't have to. Nothing means more to me than winning hockey games."
- Captain McIntosh speaks out after his Gamblers took the inagural Flight of Fall Championship in convincing fashion.
"Maybe our goals aren't great, but you can't score if you don't shoot the puck. It's a simple fact. We shoot the puck."
- Pit Boss, commenting on the Gambler plan of action, created by him and J-MAC. The Gamblers were previously taunted by ignorant CT players for shooting 'too much'...
