Sorry! I do not know exactly where this
image came from, but from the file name of the image it would seem that it is a 1994 NASA
image. Images that old seem no longer to be available on the NASA website. NASA claims no
copyright on the images it posts so the image is, I believe, free to use. Atlantis is the
4th of the shuttle vehicles and flew first on October 3rd 1985. It has now completed 21
flights, the most recent being in May 2000. I believe this is of the landing, mission
accomplished, at Edwards Air Force Base in California on November 14th 1994. |
