There seem to be very few images that are suitable as subjects for the "underwater" version of the "Lake" applet. And I am not sure that this image is really suitable either. I found the "original" on the Soviet "PhotoArt of Nature" website but I do not know whose image it is. What you see above is just a part of that "original" image with a mirror version placed beside it for greater visual interest.
