Bike Trips
My high school buddy Dave and I have decided that we're going start doing a bike trip every year so that we can get out, kill some brain cells, and scare the living shit out of the local wild and domesticated life. This page is specifically for and about those trips. The links (which are dead at the moment) will take you to a log of what happened on that trip…well, not necessarily a log so much as of how much of a blast we had, with some eye-candy to boot.
Any and all trips we commit ourselves to, at least for the next 2 -3 years will be Canadian, if not within the province of Ontario. However, if you would like to get ahold of us either by telephone or email, feel free to e-mail me at
pilottobombadier@yahoo.com or Dave at devendre@excite.com. We will give you our telephone numbers if you are actually seriously considering tagging along for whatever trip we choose. Costs only include your own necessary expenses. You're just coming along for the ride, after all. We do, however, have age restrictions. This year, no one under the age of 17 is allowed, and next year we'll up that to no one under 18. Also, no one more than 5 years older than Dave or I (anyone born before 1977 is considered too old) may come either…we like to stay within a very tight age group.The story behind this trip is kind of interesting, simply because we want Algonquin Park but can't get it thanks to a very inconvenient public servant strike. Anyway, at the moment, we're just getting the trip together, planning equipment costs, and of course, the cost of the after-party ;-)
