1 Drink plenty of water:

A person should drink approx. 1/2 their weight in water oz per day. Adding extras after a work out, or after drinking caffeine, carbonated, or sugar beverages.

2 Remembering it is not the length of the work out but the intensity

Some people think that because they only have a few minutes it is not worth the short work out. But a short work out, can be just as effective as a long one.

3 Positive affirmation works

Most overweight people have real problems with self-esteem and confidence. Positive affirmation can help everyone out. Go to the mirror several time a day and say positive things to yourself into it, until you believe such as I am worth it. Which is what I started out with. It may not work for everyone, but I know it works for me.

4 Eat fruits after a work out or early in the day.

Eating fruit after a work out or early in the day will allow it to burn instead of sit on your body.
