Bare Facts: Female ~ Born 1995 ~ Mother Kelsey ~ Father Unknown ~ Children None ~ ID Curved, wide fin; sharp point; thin saddle at top

Schooner was born in 1995 to Kelsey (A24). She was the sixth calf, but at the time, only one of her siblings, Sutlej, was alive. We discovered that she was, in fact, a she thanks to genetic research.
Schooner was born when the two A4 matrilines were already spending time apart. When she was two years old, she gained a niece/nephew, when Sutlej gave birth to A68. Sadly, the little calf died the same year.
When Schooner was 4 years old, she got a new sister/brother, Magin (A71). The next year, she got a niece, Springer (A73). She now had two playmates!
Sadly, the next year, Schooner lost her sister, Sutlej, and Springer disappeared, leaving Schooner with just her mom and Magin.
Four years later, when Schooner was 8, she got another sister/brother, Toba (A78).
Now, Schooner is ten years old and healthy. She is one of her mother's few calves to survive. She travels with mom, Magin and Toba, and when they meet up with her aunt's family, she can see her niece Springer again!
In a few years, Schooner will be having calves of her own. Hopefully, they won't stray like her niece!
She now has a new nick 1/3 down from the tip of her fin, and noticeable scratches along her side.
