Klaoitsis was born around June 1, 2005. He/she was born to Clio (A50). This is Clio's second calf. Her eldest, Bend, is now six years old and still healthy and thriving.
Klaoitsis has popped up on OrcaLive cameras a few times now. He/she seems to be very adventurous, and quite a handful! The little one keeps dashing off, then zipping back to mom. Older sibling Bend seems to be giving mom a hand in taking care of the rambunctious calf.
In 2007, Klaoitsis was named by the adoption program, a symbol that he/she had survived the first two years!
