A65 was born in 1996, to Siwiti, who was 13 at the time. A65 was Siwiti's first calf.
When he/she was born, the family consisted of grandmother Yakat, aunts Nahwitti and Skagit, uncle Skeena, and cousins Kiltik and Racey.
Siwiti was a very playful whale and probably loved to play with her new calf. Sadly, the little one didn't last. The calf died the same year, and his/her mother disappeared as well.
