Steak Diane

1/3 cup butter
8 4 oz filet steaks
4 oz mushrooms, sliced
2 green onions, minced
¼ cup brandy
1 ½ cups brown gravy
¼ cup sherry
¼ cup heavy cream

In a large skillet , heat the butter. Fry steaks to your likeliness. Remove and keep warm. Add the mushrooms to the skillet and sauté until tender. Add the green onions and cook for 1 min. carefully flame with brandy. Add the brown gravy, sherry and cream. Reduce to ¾ volume. Pour sauce over steaks. Serve
