A Little About N.E.A.A.
Northern Elite Airsoft Association was formed in May 2002 by four people who were looking for a paintball type game that used more realistic weapons, equipment, and military game scenario's. Eventually we came across airsoft and found it to be the type of game and community we had sought after and as such brought to life N.E.A.A., the most northern airsoft team in Canada. Based out of Yellowknife, N.W.T. we have slowly grown to 6 full time members with membership spanning as far as Fort Simpson. We also have several part time players who make it out to our weekend games. We do play some paintball type capture the flag games, but mainly stick to the milsim scenarios that is not seen in paintball. Our currents field are split between two areas. First being a wooded area of the sandpit's and the second being the local paintball field. We are trying to acquire an old demolition derby track which we hope will become our primary field. The main difference between the demolition derby track and the fields in current use, is the amount of unnatural cover allotted around the area and the dense bush. Some pictures of the sandpits can be seen on the Action Pic's page. A little about the sections.
