Executive Summary
Amway has grown considerably from its initial
start in its founder’s basement. It now spans more than eighty
countries and provides over three million people with the opportunity torealize
their dreams of financial growth and personal freedom. Yet,there is
still room for growth. Both Amway and our group members believethat
an e-business solution is the next step in Amway’s growth strategy.
Amway, currently has a website but it is very
poorly designed and infrequently maintained. Therefore, our suggestions
for improvement will focus on three main areas: Design (appearance), functionality,
and content. By improving these three areas Amway will be able togain
and maintain a competitive advantage and will be in a better positionto help
its independent business owners who depend on support and guidancefrom Amway.
