Kingston Cowboys Vs Napanee Express Midgets
The Cowboys opened the scoring in the top of the first inning, scoring three runs.  Centre fielder Jeff Hannah led off the inning with a walk and moved to second on a single to left field by right fielder Tim Murphy.  After both runners advanced on a passed ball, Hannah was able to score when pitcher Jon Swaine grounded out to shortstop.  After catcher Craig Pearce reached first on a walk and another passed ball, shortstop Doug Kane hit a double down the right field line to score both runners.  Napanee had two runners on base with two out in the bottom half of the second inning for their best scoring chance of the game, however Swaine struck out the next batter to end the inning.  After a lead off single by second baseman Joe Ryan down the right field line and a strike out, Napanee pitcher Jordan MacDonald hit a line drive to centre field that Hannah made a driving play on end that rally.  Napanee did not have another runner reach base in the game.  The Cowboys managed to push another run across in the sixth inning on an RBI single by left fielder Brandon Burtch after back to back one out walks to Kane and third baseman Dana Jewers.  In the seventh inning, Pearce hit an RBI triple to right centre field to score Swaine, who had been hit by a pitch, to plate the final run of the game.
