Brett Contracting Cowboys Vs Enterprise 401 Auto Mall
In a game dominated by pitching and defense, the Cowboys opened the scoring in the sixth inning.  Shortstop Doug Kane led off the inning with a single to centre field and moved to second on a ground ball by left fielder Pat Severin that was misplayed on the infield.  One out later, after Kane had moved to third on a delayed steal, first baseman Kevin Buchan hit a double over the centre fielder's head to score Kane.  Third baseman Jon Peters then followed with a double to the left centre field gap that scored both Severin and Buchan to give the Cowboys a 3-0 lead.  Enterprise rallied in the bottom of the seventh on a homerun by third baseman Lyle Brown followed by a single by first baseman Larry McNeill, but they could not tie the game.
