The Cowboys opened the scoring in the first inning  on an RBI single to right field by third baseman Pat Severin that scored shortstop Doug Kane, who had led off the inning with a walk.  The Cowboys extended the lead to 2-0 in the second inning when first baseman Kevin Buchan reached base on an error and scored on a two out single by right fielder Kevin Gauvreau.  Napanee responded in the third inning.  Right fielder Brent Mills started the rally with a single and scored on a triple to the right centre field gap by first baseman Brad Weese.  The Cowboys added the final run of the game in the sixth inning when second baseman Jon Swaine led off the inning with a single up the middle and scored on a double by Buchan.
