Brett Contracting Cowboys Vs Battersea Merchants 
The Cowboys took the early lead in this game, scoring five times in the top of the first inning.  Right fielder Tim Murphy doubled to right field with one out and then scored on a single to right by left fielder Pat Severin.  Catcher Craig Pearce followed with a double to right centre to score Severin.  After a sacrifice by shortstop Doug Kane and an error that allowed first baseman Kevin Buchan to reach base, third baseman Jon Peters hit a two run homerun to centre.  Murphy added a solo homerun to left centre field in the second inning to give the Cowboys a 6-0 lead.  In the fifth inning Severin hit a two run homerun to right field, scoring Murphy, who had reached on an error.
