Brett Contracting Cowboys Vs Napanee Express Midgets
The Cowboys opened the scoring in the top of the first inning.  Centre fielder Jeff Hannah opened the inning with a double and later scored on a single by left fielder Pat Severin.  Severin later scored on a single by pitcher Jon Swaine.  Napanee answered with their only run of the game in the bottom of the first inning when centre fielder Nate Moffat reached base with a single up the middle and then scored on a throwing error on a sacrifice bunt.  The Cowboys added two more runs in the second inning on an RBI double by third baseman Jon Peters and an RBI single by second baseman Kevin Gauvreau.  A two RBI triple by shortstop Doug Kane and an RBI single by first baseman Kevin Buchan in the third inning  made the score 7-1.  Kane finished the scoring in the seventh inning with a solo homerun to left centre field.
