How to Play MEGA MONEY
MEGA MONEY is the big cash game. With an average top prize starting about $125,000, MEGA MONEY can roll over to more than a million dollars. Just pick four numbers plus one Mega Ball number and you'll get a chance to win on six prize levels.
1. Pick four numbers from 1 through 32 from the upper play area AND one number from 1 through 32 from the lower play area on your MEGA MONEY play slip.
2. Or mark the Quick Pick box and let the terminal randomly select some or all of your numbers.
3. You can play up to five panels on each play slip. Each play is $1.
4. You can play the same numbers for more than one drawing. To play up to 10 consecutive drawings, mark the Advance Play area on your play slip, or tell the retailer how many advance draws you wish to play.
Drawings are held Tuesday and Friday evenings at 11 p.m. Eastern Time and carried on 13 Lottery Affiliate TV Stations. You can purchase tickets until 10:40 p.m. Eastern Time for that night's draw. You can claim your prizes beginning at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time the following morning.
If you claim a prize on a winning Advance Play ticket before all of the draws on the ticket have occurred, you will be issued a continuation ticket for the remaining draws with the same play numbers as the original ticket.
All prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the applicable draw date.
How to Win in Mega Money
There are six ways to win MEGA MONEY. Players win MEGA MONEY prizes by matching in any order two, three, or four of the winning numbers drawn in the official drawing for the date played. Also match the Mega Ball with your two, three, or four numbers and your prize will be higher. MEGA MONEY is a pari-mutuel game. Actual prize amounts depend on sales and the number of winners in each prize category. If no MEGA MONEY ticket matches all four winning numbers plus the Mega Ball, the top prize "rolls over" to the next drawing. All MEGA MONEY prizes are paid in a single cash payment.
Appropriate federal income taxes will be withheld from MEGA MONEY prizes $5,000 and greater at the time payments are made.
