Hi! As almost everybody that knows me know that I have a turtle called "Athletic". It's my first pet ever and some how it became my favourite animal. It's Red Ear Sliders. It loves to bask in sunlight, often stacked on top of one another.

If you want your turtle to grow faster you have to let it eat worms because when they try to eat the worms they are actually doing excercise.

You might think that worms are digusting so you might have decided to give them turtle food. Turtle food are much cleaner but then it's not as tasty for the turtle. Also, the turtle won't grow as fast as it should be.

Turtles have a very long life and they could be pretty smart. Most people tend to have Brazil turtles, but Brazil turtles gets blind very easily. My turtle Athletic is a Brazil turtle and it got blind about 3-4 times. To get the turtle to get well you need to buy some turtle medicine, you could find to in the fish shops. The turtle medicine are about $15-45, depending on the quality that you buy.

Turtle tends to be a pretty good listener if you talk to them, they'll look at you for a pretty long time(probly they have nothing to do).

I use to have 2 turtles but one died, so it leads down to one only. I was really sad when my second turtle die, I just got it for about 1-2 weeks at that time. It died because of blindness. If Brazil turtles are blind they tend to get sick very easily.
