One hour from Yosemite, Kings, and Sequoia National Park rests Ray's Iris Acres.  Clovis has reached out to the point where the land is zoned commercial.

Ray started out the same as most of us, half a dozen rhizomes in hand, one inspiring speaker (John Weiler), and one good bloom season.

The Wards have established their garden in six inch raised boxes overtop of the local hardpan.  For the convention beds, a silty, sandy loam is employed.
