Another week passes with little news/info on Nascar 08. The rumor about Nascar 08 being just 2 on line for P2 is still not yet confirmed or denied.
We are still showing little turn out, and I am hoping that soon the lost regulars return. I have little doubt that the Nascar 08 will see a spike of returning members.
Not much to post this week other then that I have calculated the latest stats and looking forward to the weekend as the summer weather is here already.

The stats are in. The leader board remains unchanged as far as it goes for who is where.
I recently seen the video's posted for the Nascar 08, looking OK so far. I like the damage aspect. I like seeing the individual tire wear as well on the screen. The draft "green smoke" is cool as well. I can already tell though with the humor n words we exchange in our races, let me be the first to say that is not a green cloud for drafting, that is going to be rotten green air coming from the back of everyone's ass.. I know it's going to be topic for a while, its a given.
I am more anxious to get this game, as I am no longer liking the simple setups for the 07.... I just want the setups back and all the other stuff including 16 racers at a time. I better start writing letters to everyone now saying see you in 6 months. I know I am gonna be eating this game up huge. I hope!!!
I am not seeing HzzrdsFnst 3 & 24 on line anymore, I hope things are OK with them, I am hoping that we also have a strong team going into Nascar 08 as well.
I am planning on a scouting binge soon, but it is hard when your not seeing many people who would fit into our fold.

I am early this week.
I also see we are declining in numbers again. Maybe the good weather? I would have to say so. I am planning on being out this coming weekend, so I won't be seen from Thurs evening till Sunday evening.
So as some of you may know a certain team mate lost 500 pts in his stats due to a loss of a bet. The bet was, New York Rangers would go to the finals, and I said that they won't make it out of the east. As you all can guess, Sabers took out Rangers in the second round. If I had of loss this bet, the web site would have become pro-Rangers for a solid year. Since I wont he bet, I was able to deduct 500 points from the team member.
With the decline in racers, nothing much I can add today, catch you on the track......

I am again not able to update the stats this week, but I am able to throw in my weekly updates like you always read here.
I am home this weekend, I am looking to play Nascar and Baseball. I have been finding it hard to play Nascar when games like the baseball shine on the Ps3. I am not getting enough of the system. And the hardest part about it all is that I have been busy doing some personal stuff. I have not been able to put in the time right now I use to. I am going to get back into the swing of things as I can blend everything into one.
About the baseball. I really never followed baseball other then the early 90's when we had a team that was winning (Toronto Blue Jays). We won back to back 92/93 world series. Then the strike came, then we didn't have the team we once had and they have failed to even come back into the post season. Now I bought the MLB 2K7 for the P3, and I am interested once again. I have not played a baseball game in over 15 years on any console, but this makes you quickly forget the old days.
This brings up the Nascar 08. I am hoping it will be a sharp change from what I been playing the past 3 versions. Everyone boasts about the NR2003 etc etc etc, and when it comes down to preference everyone can boast whatever it is they like. I like the console Nascar games, I am looking forward to the next gen console game as well.
If it is any indication whatsoever, the MLB game shows you can create your leagues on the game itself. This gives you much more power over things like removing team mates or adding other then people with current systems who just use a name and become recognized.
Face it, the next gen consoles are really looking to make even the p2 look like the sega saturn/sega cd did when Sony come out with the p3. It is a much different console. It is expensive, and it is worth the money to play the games on, however when you can use that money on better things, I stick to what I said before... I rather put the money to better use. Just the thing about it all is, if you have the money to invest in the P3, don't hesitate.
For the non P3 owners, let me just say that when you have a system in front of you , and you see bugs and or have things you would like added to it, and the next time you fire up the system it alerts you that you have updates to download and install, and find they have upgraded what you already thought was an awesome system, your going to love it just for that.
You know that the games can now be simply changed by MOD downloads.. Cautions on line when 08 comes out? who knows, but I am sure that EA can have it where they can patch that in if it is not avail right away. The fact is too, that other then making the money on year after year. You wouldn't have to buy the next game that comes along, EA or whoever could simply upload an update to turn the next version into the next one.. 08 could turn into 09 by uploads of patches n mods.. but that wouldn't make money so you know they will keep on selling you a CD instead.
Again sorry for those who come looking for your stats again this week. I am going to have them posted next week.

I was not able to do updates this week and will return to them next week. HzzrdsFnst3 is on Hiatus, and will eventually return, keep an eye out for him. I will update everything when I get the time, possibly next Thursday. Keep watching. In the meantime keep visiting the forum.
With the deadline quickly approaching, it is now listed below on the Chase section who will make the top 8. This is kinda ironic that the Qualified list is the only 8 active racers who record stats weekly. Unfortunately the ones removed from the list are still great racers, whoever they are MIA when it comes to our Nascar Race Team. This is not a black mark on these members, they simply just don't make it to be this season's HzzrdsFnst Champion. I am hoping we have larger turn out when the next Nascar generation comes along, and from there we'll continue to be a name recognized in the Nascar games. To the racers who don't get in, again I am not calling you down, it is only fair that the real active members Qualify. I just want to remind everyone that we removed names from the Dec list for basically the same activity. Hope to see more and more run next season. There is still chance that those who are out of the line up can make it into our championship races this coming June/July. Simply record at least 80 races between here and June 16th and you'll make the cut. Why 80 races? Well with 4 weeks left that's average 20 races a week, and knowing that some of you have put in more then that over a week, you shall do fine. Please race more then 7 laps at Dega if ya do try and make the cut. I will be monitoring the stats to see the increase if it does occur.
Rumors are everywhere already for the Nascar 2007 game. I have heard things like that it will be on all consoles, P3 next year, but xbox360 even see's 07. Then there is the rumor that only the psp gets 07. How did that rumor start? Well apparently ya do a search and so far only screens etc are listed for the psp, which has many believing that only the psp gets 07, but lets face it, that would suck and we know that is not going to be a fact. Another rumor, that there is going to be a switch up from EA sports to Codemasters, ok, that's the strongest rumor yet, but, I believe the psp version is EA which would again show they have the licence still. Another rumor that is supposed to be confirmed though is the "Red Flag" addition, and presumably for offline. You can stop your race, and red flag it (basically save the game, mid race) and then resume when ever your free to do so. I will be posting more about the game when I see stuff posted everywhere online, the rumors the facts, i'll throw them here..top
As you can already see, the web page has taken on a whole new look. I am hoping it is loading much quicker for everyone as all the information is now on one page. Dale takes the win in Richmond HzzrdsFnst1 has received 50 bonus points.
The details are forming for the Chase that will start after the June 16 deadline. June 15 is the actually last day, June 16 is when the top 8 compete for the championship for our Official season 2. It will also be posted soon as to who is not qualified to enter into the top 8 due to inactivity. Drivers points will continue on for the whole team, but will be reset to 0. A new leader board will take shape soon as the 2nd season ends. The 3rd season on 2006 will no doubt be shorter due to the next years version of Nascar coming out.
This week's turn out was a bit lower then last week, only 6 team mates are recording stats. The others are playing ToCA or Nascar Sim Racing on the PC. The team is still very much alive, but since we do spread out over various games, we are everywhere. See the forum for the games you can find us playing on.
I am still looking for time to be able to blend ToCA with my Nascar gaming, so that I can get things rolling with ToCA on the web page and forum.
Nothing to add to our BF2 section, again, the team is alive, but just not all on the same game at one time.
Just to note, if anyone is seeing back activity from our HzzrdsFnst drivers, please join the forum and under "Penny For My Thoughts" , post your comments.

I would like to mention that once again
a Teammate is being fingered as not being up to par on this team. I am not
going to mention the team member's name, but I would like to see feedback
on what non-team members are seeing and being part of on the track when it
comes to our team. I have a section in the forum where people can go and post
about team members. The section is called Penny For My Thoughts.
Please register to post, and also this would be perfect opportunity to let
us know what is going on.
I know it sucks to get accounts banned, suspended etc on the EA servers, I
would rather have it dealt with on a team level and in the forum. I am hoping
that more and more non team mates will show up on the forum and work with
us on things that the leaders cannot always see. Be honest, be open as well.
Hopefully who signs up uses the persona you use in the game, to quickly identify
you and if your not wanting to be open with your persona, then there is no
rules against you using any name you wish. I do encourage people though to
PM on the forum and perhaps tell me who you are on the track and I assure
you that your name will not be shared with anyone who will reveal your name.
A team mate has already lost points for things that have occurred recently, and with that I am hearing again new things, and I really hope that people can confirm what is being said. To the teammate, I have yet to hear a response from, only increases the chances that what is being said is more and more evident. No one wants to lose team mates, but when someone is staining the name of the team you run with, it has it's tendency to push others to wanting to disassociate with the team they have come to race with.
