We have been still coming up strong with team being online. I am recording stats for all 9 Active members, and 2 from the HzzrdsRcn side. I am hoping to finally get around to adding more people to the HzzrdsRcn side.

The past week again seen me up and down with the way I feel about the team, game, and doing stats. I have no problems doing these stats & updates as I know they are being followed and read and so on, but I am often finding myself thinking is it worth it. I think it is, I just hear such negative feedback about one another, and I try and find solutions and nothing seems will work. I am coming to the conclusion to just continue on this path we are all on and realize that we still remain a strong well bonded team. So what is there to fix then? I don't know, maybe I felt things could have been spiced up a bit more, and when I didn't get rave response to it, seems everyone enjoys getting the stats etc, but I am the guy spending time calculating them.

Nothing is going to change, and for those who do skin a few easy wins off the top of the pile, well it's only a game and if you need to do this to feel you have achieved some status of greatness, then all the power to you. But remember one thing, you had to cut corners to beat those who can generally beat you. I am guessing your all reading this right now and wondering who I am talking about, or think you know who I am talking about... you have it wrong, this is just a common comment, a reminder to those who feel they have to do something to be "the best". So that last little statement is 100% not directed at not one of our team members on both sides of the Hzzrds' Also remember we all know how much them padders are idiots and they achieve nothing from being #1 on EA SPORTS Leader board.

With that I just want everyone to know that we are going to be heading into our 4th installment of Nascar online gaming on the play-station, with this same group of guys. That is providing we all continue to support the great name Hzzrds' with good honest clean racing no matter where we run and who we run with.

It's all good, hell, I am even climbing now in the Hzzrds Stats... go figure. I had fun running NBS Martinsville & Daytona and found that was too cool... Hope more of them to come.

Again, I decided to get the stats in today (Friday), because I reminded myself that we do have a good group of guys and we all can shine that much more when we all stop the small divide that is ever so slightly present. It's a game, a fun game, and it's our name we want to keep strong...

See you on the track.

The team is still doing ok for turn-outs. nothing close to what we had running when we began, but it is closing on 2 years the team has been around.

I got thinking about something, and that is how we all run the game. The team runs everywhere and anywhere we wanna run. On average we see 5 - 10 races a night from who ever gets online. The thing I see happening is, we run races that leave little chance to make anything out of it. I have fallen out of a draft, I have gotten pit penalties, or have been spun by lagged out AI. Running 12% of a race leaves small chance you'll recover. This leaves opportunity for 1, the host (if he is not wrecked out, or behind) to make good ground. The host rarely see's the lag from the AI and often can run a bit faster in drafts with just about any of the 3 others in the race. Is it fair we all don't have equal connections like the host does? I don't care myself, but I can see how it could make it harder for people to want to race the same track over and over again and know that some might have the upper hand. I just think that perhaps if a 50% race is run, that is equal to 4 n then some of the 12% but it leaves really good chance for people to get the most out of the race incase something happens early on.

I am the first one to try and avoid the longer races, well sometimes I am in bad timing. I want to try and make it where we do get to run longer races, and in the event that no team is on or can run the longer races, I am hoping to see we split up where we know we can all come out on top as well... Maybe shake it up a little where someone who can run well at Texas will give the guy who can run Pocono the next race to make it up. I have thought about schedule racing at times. We all could get the pattern going where maybe we start out at Atlanta, go through the list of tracks on everyone's mind. This might also help improve the people's interests in the tracks.

I think that some of these idea's need to be strongly considered, because it often creates people wondering what one another are doing to get the points we have established here on the team. And it is not fair to individuals who gained every single point through good clean hard racing. It is far too difficult to collect stats on races that become dedicated to our point system. (I.E..... counting just 50% or more ran races) or for those who raced just 2 races this week compared to some who raced 100 this week. There is not real way to break it down to what should count, but running more longer & harder races can help offset it for those who feel they are being cut a raw deal.

In my opinion I do not think anyone is getting a raw deal, I just think that it is easy to beat a game that has levels "beginner to Legend" ( Dash on through full races.).. Again this touches on the "get out of the gates early will work in your favor." Something has to change, and I'll let you all know when I work it out with the other 2 leaders. top

The stats have been updated this week. This is the best stats taken yet. I have recorded stats for everyone but the one member. HzzrdsFnst07 is 1101 & HzzrdsFnst77 is being him by 40 pts. HzzrdsFnst31 & HzzrdsFnst1 have been playing and have been climbing in the stats as well.

I have added "Myspace" to the fold now of ways to check us out. My Space URL http://www.myspace.com/hzzrdsfnstracing .This is where you can interact as well with the team and other racing fans. Included at the Myspace page will be blogs and more updated info surrounding our time on the game. You will also find submitted video and other things created by the team. So join us over on "Myspace" Right now you can see video(s) HzzrdsFnst3 created.

**Note** For some reason the MySpace url is not saved right, so cut n paste the url to visit our Myspace. If too lazy to do that, Search out HzzrdsFnstRacing on there.

I had a pretty up and down week last week with the game. I had very little patience even with myself and it didn't take much for me to tangle with a few people. I normally just take in what people have to say and then work it out and come back with solutions. Not this past week, I wanted to be argumentive and it almost had me leave this team. This team is a great group of people and I do not want to see problems within the team. This team was well built when it came to character comparing. I try and see who I can choose for the RCN side.

The rumor mill is in full swing early this year for the next version of Nascar. The release date is said to be July.

Keep watching "Myspace" and the forum and as always this page for updated info.

See you on the track.top

The stats are going to be updated next week. I am not feeling my best and find it hard to stare at the small numbers on the white background (calculator, I created for stats).

I am hoping to get in some racing tonight (Thurs) and I believe the HzzrdsFnst18 is looking to join us tonight and tomorrow night.

Keep watching the page for any latest news, as I always will throw something up when things happen.

See you on the track!

Thursday March 1.2007

The PTS lead has changed, HzzrdsFnst07 has now taken 1st place in the standings with points. HzzrdsFnst77 is just 4 points behind him.

The web page was flagged this past week as being a "Phishing" Go to the link and read about what it is all about.
At first I thought it was someone playing games and thought it would be harmless to report this site as a Phishing site. What I did from there was I filled out the form on the report page to request I be removed as a Phishing web site. while I was filling out the report I decided I would look into the FAQ on "Why I Was Flagged" and I read the many reasons and one reason was dead on to why this site got flagged. My ISP, Rogers cable, a few years ago decided to merge with Yahoo. When that happened was many of us who had web space with Rogers was then transferred to Geocities as a new host. We got the ad-free setup as long as our account(s) were 6 months or older. What they did that was hard for many to swallow was take the people's main (ISP)e-mail address and include it in the web space URL. That means we who use our ISP web space to host has an @ symbol in the URL, and that is considered to be one of the warnings as a Phishing antic. I was able to get them to remove this site from the Phishing list. I hope we will remain off that list. Incase you do see the Phishing warning come up, please understand why it is happening and there is no need for alarm.

I still been seeing HzzrdsFnst31 playing BF2 and he is looking to get that headset and get out on the track as soon as he can.

I will be catching you all out on the track... top

Kurt Busch takes the win in Bristol. No points awarded to any team mates. I have increased my play on Nascar the past week, I have also climbed a short bit up the pts ladder too. HzzrdsFnst3 played on Friday night and will make another return this coming friday (March 31.2006). He is hoping for a good turn out. HzzrdsFnst12, you have the game how come your not coming on? HzzrdsFnst12 has mentioned a few times that she don't have the correct setup plus she cannot access the forum to view team setups. Hope that works out for her.

I have not played the ToCA in week or so, and only because when I think about racing, I jump on the Nascar.

I see more and more people adding us to thier links on thier web pages and forums, check out the links section here to see who I added to our links. As always visit our web pages/forum for all the latest, and please register and post. Everyone is welcome to chat with the HzzrdsFnst.

March 23,2006

Kasey Kahne takes the win in Atlanta, and with that, it gives HzzrdsFnst08 a bonus 50 pts. HzzrdsFnst18 is around, he's been playing Nascar and ToCA 3. HzzrdsFnst10 is now 911 pts, and without them bonus points would be 811, and in 1st without the extras.

Over on the forum I added a new section, ToCA Race Driver 3 game stuff. We can enter in our setups and comment on each and every car and track. I am seeing a big number of Nascar 06 racers over there, as well as our team (01/15/18/28/31) and very soon the HzzrdsFnst10.

HzzrdsFnst team is still allive, we are spread out more n more right now, and all you have to do is find us out there... Go Leafs Go! More to come... top

March 16,2006

We have a new point leader!!!! HzzrdsFnst10 has gained large ground in the stats, and even without the 2 x bonus points he was knocking on the door of the HzzrdsFnst77. HzzrdsFnst10 w/out the bonus points is 766 and with them, he is 866. HzzrdsFnst77 is in second with 777.

This week was the lowest team turn out yet!. I am not sure why, but we are not all playing as much as we use to. I am against watching the team fold due to lack of turn out, and I still have plenty of confidence we'll be racing in large groups again. This is not going to spoil what the team is all about, keep an eye for things to come... Remember, I was a late bloomer myself on 2005, and I played it all last summer, and I suspect this is what will happen with the 2006.

I bought the Toca 3 game, and it is a loaded racing game as well. 8 racers at a time online, and the game even has some Nascar trucks and cars in it. There are 70 cars, 80 tracks. I placed a game review in the forum, check it out. At this time it appears it is HzzrdsFnst01, HzzrdsFnst15, HzzrdsFnst18, HzzrdsFnst28, and HzzrdsFnst31 who own the game.

Team leader HzzrdsFnst6 is now active in the forum, this makes all 3 leaders now available for contact via the forum.

HzzrdsFnst18, Where are you??? Seems that he is not online at all in the past while. HzzrdsFnst28 lent a friend his game, but you can catch him over on battleField and or Toca now as well. Friday, March 17.2006 will see HzzrdsFnst3 & HzzrdsFnst6 racing online, it is almost certain they will be online to race. I am looking to being here myself on Friday night. I am planning on racing the HzzrdsFnst6 & HzzrdsFnst3, and no doubt we'll be seeing HzzrdsFnst01, HzzrdsFnst1, HzzrdsFnst31, and HzzrdsFnst07 out there.. HzzrdsFnst10, come on and join us on Friday Night. top

March 13,2006

Another win for Jimmie Johnson. This gives HzzrdsFnst10 another 50 points. This no doubt places HzzrdsFnst10 into the lead with points.top

March 9,2006

Another week gone by, and team is still not playing much. HzzrdsFnst07 and HzzrdsFnst10 are making big moves. HzzrdsFnst10 with that bonus win from Daytona, is 31 short points behind leader. HzzrdsFnst07 is moving up just as quick, and has pushed his way closer to the top. Watch for new things still in the works to be announced fairly soon. HzzrdsFnst15(me) will also be racing on Friday night, catch you out there.... Check out the RaceStar Sports web page, I added the link in the links section... top

March 2 ,2006

With California done, and Kenseth winning, no HzzrdsFnst team mates got any points. Keep rooting. Good to see HzzrdsFnst1 back out there racing, and before you know it, HzzrdsFnst3 will be out there kicking ass and taking names again. HzzrdsFnst28 is gonna be sticking around for the next while. Hope to see HzzrdsFnst77 back soon as well..

I am receiving forms from people and also requests for new HzzrdsFnst names, after receiving a fair amount, it remains no new names will be added to our team under the HzzrdsFnst name for now. HzzrdsFnst3 has restated that no new names will be given out at this time. We are trying to work our a fair system to accommodate many levels of team members across the internet and game consoles. Trust me, we are working on a new structure that will see the light of day soon and be flying right along our main team name and be just as strong. Team will be more then welcome to add input as to what they want in the affiliated team, and these ideas will be considered and put into the mix. Final phase will be put into place by the 3 team leaders and the structure will be worked out to where it can fly strong from the word go.

HzzrdsFnst88, HzzrdsFnst' 1st Lady passes along her thank you's to the team who wished her a happy b-day. top
