Thursday January 25.2007 R.i.p. HzzrdsFnst? What is going on? Did ya know?!?! That I raced just 6 races in the past week, and HzzrdsFnst07 raced just 1 race... That's an all time low for sure for turn out. Are we done? Hope not. This past week was insane again for me. As many of you know I suffer from OCD and imagine the worst when I tell you that I not had a single person in my house for a extreme long time and just this week the guy had to come to clean and adjust the gas fireplace... I was not good!!! I spent 15 hours cleaning when he left and also many hours prepping for his arrival. I am hoping to make a better come back next week. I just hope it will be a good turn out with the week(s) to come with the return of actual Nascar.... Come to think about it, I bet if you read the news archives back to this time last year, you might be reading we are holding out for a team return around the return of actual Nascar to give us the fever to play more. Nothing really to mention in the stats dept. other than I made a mistake recently on HzzrdsRcn's stats.. I had him pegged with well over 100 poles, and in actuality he's currently sitting at 50... Unless I was again head-messed and took the stats down wrong... Believe me, lots going on in my head... On top of everything I am preparing to move, and move away from my problems with OCD. My symptoms are very much OCD, yet very strange. I walk out the door of my apartment and my OCD is 110% left behind.. Why? I have no idea... I touch and operate like normal on the outside, but the fears are strong and 100% there when I am at home. It is the return home that makes things hard as well. If I was out I have to have a shower nothing short of 1 hour plus, and with that it is often I have 2 showers within the 5 hour window if possible... and I know that will go away too... I am currently making plans to move, and with the move I know that I will get a lot of what I lost back in my life. So now you all know that when I say I will be back in 5 minutes (or more). I had to wash my hands for something I had done. And I have sometimes had moments where I have to drop the controller and go wash. I find it funny most of the time, but there has been times that if the race is not going good for me, and there is off game issues going on inside my head, I pull the plug on my race... I am glad that it is a rare event, but it happens. This is also why I am not racing in the day. My OCD don't let me, because I am more active in the day and touch more things, this means I run high risk of dirtying my controller.. and the controller can only sustain so much lysol before the thing breaks... Here's an example of lysol usage in my home, I spend $40 a month on lysol!!! The keyholes are gunked up with lysol on the apartment doors from so much lysol that we often use lube to get the gears unstuck!!!.. It's fun, but I will defeat it!! And maybe with a clear mind soon, I'll start defeating you all on the track!!!.... hahahaha ya right! |
Thursday January 18.2007 R.i.p. Benny Parsons. Parsons, the 1973 NASCAR champion, died in Charlotte, N.C., , his son Keith said. He had been hospitalized there since Dec. 26. This past week seen the lowest turn out ever for the HzzrdsFnst team. HzzrdsFnst07 raced 2 times, and I raced a small hand full. Other then that no one posted stats over the past week. Is this the end of the team? I don't know. I hope not. I too have been on a mixed schedule and know what it is like when real life (opposed to Nascar Gaming) comes calling. So I am hoping in the coming days or over the next while we'll be showing more people playing. I have nothing really to post again this week because nothing really happened with the team other then the poor turnouts. I did update the stats though, check them out. See you on the track. |
R.i.p. Bobby Hamilton. He passed away last Sunday from the the cancer he discovered last March. Nascar lost a great driver! Well This past week seen the brief and not the last return of the HzzrdsFnst77. HzzrdsFnst18 was in there and we raced a race or 2. 50 pts is all that separates HzzrdsFnst77 & HzzrdsFnst07.. This will be tight to the end if 77 keeps racing steady. I hope to see a turn around in the coming days to get on racing more. I am coming on and finding no one on racing when I do come. So I end up going over to BF2. I did some minor changes to my car and game to try an make things a bit more better for me, I am not done yet, the changes I have made are in the right direction. Nothing more to post this week as it was a dry week for most of the team. Catch you on the track. |
Happy New Year, all the best to the whole team. It's been a busy holiday season and I still seen a good turn out for team. not many races run but I was able to log stats for guys who have not been around in months. HzzrdsFnst1 has made his return. Now if we could only get the HzzrdsFnst77 back into the fold. HzzrdsFnst18 might be out for a bit, but he will for sure return, see ya soon 18. With the new year, nothing is changing, but it would be good to start aiming for a Chase Date. It'll come to light what the race will consist of. Previously I have been thinking and under full understanding that top 10's and top 5's were a big difference. I always believed that if you finished 6 - 10th, you were awarded a top 10 and if you finished 1 - 5 you were awarded just a top 5. That is not true as I carefully followed a few of my own races because this always seemed confusing on how that worked with the EA Stats. Here is how it works. If you finish 1- 5 you get both a top 5 & top 10, however if you finish 5-10 only the top 10 will record a stat. Remember top 5's do not count toward Hzzrds stats. Top 5's are however included in the top 10, so calculating top 5 would actually double up points for top 10's. So the point system at this time will remain as is. The only possible next changes will be perhaps a top 5 & 10 Percentage to add into the mix... That will be decided when we create a new season after our chase. HzzrdsRcn017 is having MIC problems and will return soon as he fixes this problem. I have given the green light to Triplercn20 to become HzzrdsRcn29. With his arrival to the team, will make it 5 HzzrdsRcn guys. Welcome to the team HzzrdsRcn29, and hope to see many old faces too return to racing. See you on the track. |

Stats are updated and are in. Welcome HzzrdsFnst17 to the team, our third female to be on the team. Who's the second?, well actually it would be the 1st female would be the HzzrdsFnst88, HzzrdsFnst3's significant other. HzzrdsFnst12 is our second female and now the HzzrdsFnst17. It is great to have females grace this team.
HzzrdsFnst3 is still leading with the points and close behind and only out by 42 points is HzzrdsFnst77. The stats are a bit closer this time around. Stats are always updated weekly, keep and eye on Wins/Laps/Poles etc...
After catching up with the HzzrdsFnst6 on Wednesday, I asked about userRob, and alilrustynut and the chances of them joining on. I asked HzzrdsFnst3 about rustynut a week or two back and he mentioned he would like to race him a few times to pass judgement, I assume the races occured and HzzrdsFnst6 has given the go-ahead for both racers to join. UserRob, HzzrdsFnst2R is not a go, make sure that you change to an available number. This pushes our (without Rob & Nut) team to 26 members.
I am adding graphics as I go on the forum, and hoping to update the news area's and other spots that has lagged in updates, but this Thursday updating I am doing is somuch easier for me, and this should help with updates being as frequent or more then before.
The Chase Race is not going so well, time it is taking to complete the races is longer then expected. Points/Stats have continued to roll in since the cut off date, so the only thing that is delayed is knowing who is the HzzrdsFnst Champion.

I have changed up the look of the forum, added some main page graphics, and looking to add more. The forum icons etc were hosted by a teammate who obviously lost the account or deleted the graphics. I have the graphics hosted now, and the old forum look is now history.
Hopefully the team is not slowly breaking down, the amount of racers online has started to slowly get less and less when I have stopped in. I am guilty as well of not getting online, and with the holidays now behind us, I am hoping we can all gather once again like we use to and race our races the way we had before... **reminder** Updates occur on Thursday of each week.TOP
I have updated.... Thursdays are now the official update days. I have seen the forum is having some issues, and I suspect it is within the owner of the skin. The forum skin was a download, and now if the skins do not get fixed, I am planning an overhaul of it's looks. No worries about the forum though, it will have all the content currently available.
A teammate is being said to have started to become a problem, at this very moment details are sketchy as to what is going on, but the issues will be resolved soon. Hopefully this teammate can turn his actions around and change his ways. If the actions are said to not be true, then this teammate will continue on to race freely among the team. I am not going to name the teammate at this time and if this gets resolved then the name shall remain off of here, but if the member has proven to be doing what has been said, then the name will appear here as a name that no longer represents our team.
One thing about this is team is that we are not wreckers, and if wrecking does occur I am very sure it was done in self defense or other issues arise that warranted the actions. I am highly doubtful our team is out to wreck others as we have maintained a high reputation among other racers and the respect is out there. I cannot say that there will be wreckers, it is bound to happen, and when it does, the member will be dealt with and our apologies as a team goes out to those who race fair and were dealt a bad hand from the outlaw within this team.

Where are the updates? Well.. I had to format late on Friday, I figured I would have Thursday's updates posted. It is still taking time to get everything re-loaded and I am promising that there will be brand new and up to date info and sats on the webpage on Thursday this week. I have not even made it on to play on the weekend as I was also all tied up in other things... Again, sorry about the delay on stats, I have races recorded as well and will have everything posted and up to date by January 19th..... Keep watching.TOP

It took a bit, but I am found the proper way to have the top 9 race each other at least 1 times, all but 2 racers though. HzzrdsFnst3 & HzzrdsFnst43 will not face one another in the 6 races each will race. More info is unfolding at this time but a list of races is now posted HERE. The chart is easy to read, located Here it is in code. Race 1 -18 and beside the race number is the code number in brackets. Look through the races, find who ever is on, and then race it the way it is to be raced. Race Rules are:

Please do not run any clan matches until we have organized our clans and have got our plans laid out for us to be as much as we can be, perfect!. I would like to work with the 01 & 18 on placing info on organizing our clan matches and having all who can visit the combat zone to view when we will war and who is our biggest rivals... In My Opinion, I suggest everyone works on making themselves higher in rank, then we'll get them clan matches down. We'll see where it goes from here, but I am open for all avenues. TOP

I am going to outline our team members strengths in the game itself, and also keep a fairly constant update on things like medals and stats etc...

Well
I guess now that the 2005 season is over and as one of the group leaders it
is only right to say a few words on behalf of the 3 of us First off I would
like to welcome all the new Hzzrds to the team and also would like to say
thanks to everyone for being competitive as possible with not to many problems
this year.. I understand that sometimes tempers can flare...I am just happy
that everyone was able to work through everything without any problems. I
have said it before but this team of ours was made up as just a bunch of us
to just be a bunch of us to hang out and have a good time together and it
has grown into what we now know today. I would have never imagined in a million
years that it would be this big at all. There isn't anyone on the team that
I personally cant say that I don't want here and everyone knows that we are
a group to recon with on the track and off of course in whatever other games
we are all on.
Now on to some important stuff here. Last night Dec 30/05 the 3 of us that run this team on Nascar have decided that we are going to hold off on the chase out of fairness to the 18. If anyone has any problems with that please get a hold of me one way or another and let me know so I can explain my feelings behind our reason for the hold up...Now that being said....I guess all that is left to be said really is thank you to everyone for making this team so close and fun to be on and be part of running. Also to all those who make the all important chase good luck to you and remember it is all for BRAGGING rights for the next year......Also everyone have a safe and happy new year and keep up with the GOOD name we have made for ourselves. Remember that we are all here to have fun.
