Kenseth takes both races over the weekend.
Here is what I learned since the weekend and what's happening with the team. HzzrdsFnst31 has returned, he is needing to buy a headset before playing Nascar. HzzrdsFnst1, which both had just had a Birthday... Happy B-day guys. The HzzrdsFnst1 had mentioned through e-mail he is interested in making a splash back on the team and will be looking for us guys out there.
HzzrdsFnst08 has officially quit the team, he has school, work and various other things going on where he has no time to play the game.

Not a bad turnout this week, some have still kept away from the team. HzzrdsFnst28 is not going to return anytime soon if at all to the game. He is playing rFactor racing. HzzrdsFnst31 is said to be making a come back eventually, and it could be as early as tonight. Points are collecting and if the returning Hzzrds want a fair shake at the stats, I would like to see them play more.
I am finally happy to be able to catch actually Busch races on TV here in Canada this season. TSN, our national sports channel will carry the races on Saturday's for the complete season. Now I will no longer have to check out the updates online or wait for Sunday to hear about it during the Nextel races.
The race last week has allot of people on the game talking about the caution that could have been when Harvick won the Daytona 500. My opinion changed a few times after hearing some true points about the outcome. I believed initially that the caution should have come out. I then heard the things people were commenting on and it is true what is being said. "If the two were able to complete the race without being effected by the remaining of the field, then the outcome would have been all the same if nothing had happened at all". So I agree, the caution not coming out didn't hurt Martin's race at all. I just think it shows though that Mark Martin is going to be a tough one to beat now being in a Chevy.
Sammy Hagar is going to be Grand Marshall on Saturday for the Stater Bros 300 and he is to play in front of the grandstand on Sunday for the Auto club 500. That is gonna be cool.

Congratulations Kevin Harvick on the win(s) at Daytona. He swept the weekend. I was hoping to see Mark Martin win the race, but it didn't turn out that way.
The Duels are on ATM and I am taking stats right now. Michael Waltrip got into Dale Jr. Dale wondered what was up with that, and Waltrip says he had been pushed a good bit and his spotter also gave him false info and he clipped Jr. Also ATM they are under caution and Waltrip is running good and he is 1st guy out of the bunch to be getting into the 500. Something tells me after the penalties etc the past week with the Toyota team, Waltrip has a fire now lit under him and I am hoping he comes out winning with the Toyota.
The team still hanging in there? Yeah we are. I been racing a few here n there, and mostly @ Atlanta. I am doing better, and some I have won and some I have fought to keep up.
Nascar season about to start (Real Nascar) and I suggested a few postings before that we run our season. I had not a good feedback on doing that. A few are having connection issues and a few just do not have the time right now. I am going to just hold on to the idea and we do not have to run the tracks week to week as the real races are run. We'll get into our 1st Hzzrds-Season when we all can.

Things have changed! As you can see the web page is one of them , and the other... HzzrdsRcn017 has taken the lead on the RCN side of the team. Congrats 17 on taking over 1st over there.
Noticing on the stats (2 weeks collected) I noticed yet again a low turn out. I am still holding out for a good return soon and it could be as soon as the Nascar Season begins on TV as well. This is nothing really new with the team, we seen low turn-outs last year around this time. I am confident we'll be thriving soon.
I have bought the NHL 2007 game, and have had a hard time getting to play anyone. I do not want to spend my time on another game when this team comes online to race one another and we are spread out. Being spread out is great, but I just wish more of us could be spread out. I would like to see a few on Hockey, a few on Nascar and where ever else we can be spread around. This would make it easier to choose where to run and with who and mix it up here and there.
I am making short steps forward with my issues and even today I am looking to get online in the daytime, something I not been able to do in a while and it is all due to small issues and a busy schedule around here for me.
It's still a strong team, we have lost a few good team mates, and yet we have gained a few good ones too. I will be making my rounds again soon to add more people to the HzzrdsRcn side of the team pretty soon, and don't anyone worry.... I will still continue to pick those who you know you can count on to race with.

Now not everything is completed this is just a test page, so don't go clicking links, cuz they simply will not work with this page. I want feedback in the forum if possible on how you view this webpage and if the font is too small and if anything is lopsided.
I am working on a 19 inch wide screen and had to try and guess at the width that you would view this page. I am trying to add more graphics to the page and hope to have everything running smooth very soon (links etc.)

What a race that was last week in Daytona, Johnson takes the win without his crew chief, HzzrdsFnst10 gets the first win bonus of 50pts (see below)cool!.. Whats with Stewart? Crazy that #55 Dodge stayed out of the wrecks, stayed on the lead lap and horrible he stayed outta victory lane. Last Sunday night, after the race, Me(15), HzzrdsFnst18 & HzzrdsFnst28 and HzzrdsFnst10 raced at Daytona, 50 laps. I placed 18th, just like the Real Napa Did. HzzrdsFnst28 got that win as well.
HzzrdsFnst28 is our current champ and with that, we are under way on our second season. I am now gonna add a bonus to the points.. If your car you drive wins on the real track, your going to get 50 points added to your HzzrdsFnst Season points. So lets root for our drivers.
I have a list posted as to what cars we all can earn bonus points to, (list is on forum under team list) in order to be awarded bonus points you have to be fairly active in the seasons we run, a few drivers have posted little stats and will not be awarded the bonus points. Sorry, have to be active to be awarded.
It is good to see HzzrdsFnst1 back out there racing, he ran a good week and posted some fair stats, check it out. HzzrdsFnst17 has left the team.

The team is still alive, HzzrdsFnst3 is not able to log on to Nascar, he is anxious to get back online and get the fire lit under the team's ass and see more racing. HzzrdsFnst77, has not recorded stats in a week for the first time, it appears he might be busy. Happy B-day HzzrdsFnst28, his B-day passed a few days ago(Feb. 13), and today is HzzrdsFnst07 B-day. Couple more coming this month including HzzrdsFnst1&HzzrdsFnst31 on the same date (Feb. 24) and 2 days later, the First Lady of HzzrdsFnst, HzzrdsFnst88.
Today is the Gatorade Duel's 1&2 and we are a few short days away from the Daytona 500, start to the Nascar Season!!! Can't Wait.
Lots of new idea's in the works for the team to change, and improve in a better way. As mentioned before, events, racing non-team mates in tournament fashion and also affiliations to come. Also as of Feb.10.2006, no more new team mates will be added until the current line up get re-worked into fine tune. No, nothing is wrong, well nothing serious enough to lose team mates, just lots of team members not logging on and some for months at a time.
The HzzrdsFnst name is also going to be more visible, and already has been. I myself have created usernames in my chats online (general chat rooms, msn etc... even have an e-mail address with the name in it).
Last week I was on racing and a few team mates had come on and saying they see no one else on so they don't stay on long, ok, I do that too. I asked around, and everyone is anxious to get racing more as well, the Fever is there, and I am still betting that once the 500 takes off on TV, we are going to see more n more people on.
Good luck on the surgery HzzrdsFnst01, see you back on the track as soon as you can return. HzzrdsFnst1, is also out due to unfortunate events, turn it around HzzrdsFnst1, get back out here and return to the track. HzzrdsFnst28, hopefully your return will be sooner then later, and also hope your able to see the results of the chase come Sunday, I am guessing it is pretty much a sure thing right now. HzzrdsFnst28 is looking very much to being our 1st HzzrdsFnst Champion, Congrats brother, get your issues worked out and we'll see you running the game in the spring as well.
To the people who are not able to get on, no worries, the team is not going no where but up, and you guys will always have your place in the team. Points will continue to collect for everyone who does race, and with that said, it is in June that our new cut off date will be placed. A new Chase format will also be in place to avoid what happened with our first Chase.

Team play is down, way down, even more so then the week before. I have only seen 6 team mates record stats in the past week. HzzrdsFnst3 is now online, he has a computer and is very interactive now with the team on the forum and web page. He was always there on the game, but now he is easily found reading and posting on the forum as well as checking out the web page.
HzzrdsFnst3 has also posted in the forum for all team mates to read about what he feels the direction that the team is taking. Hit the forum and click the "Penny For My Thoughts" thread and read what he see's the team doing. I posted my replies there and they are reflective of his post as well.
It is final, the Chase will end as of Feb. 19.2006. If you don't finish your 6 races, each of the remaining race will be counted as 53 points per race and that will count as last place and the person with the most points will walk away our first HzzrdsFnst Champion. Keep an eye on the forum as well for votes and ideas to float for our next Chase. Guaranteed the next Chase will not be as complicated to organize and operate as the first was. A set of ideas will be up soon to vote on. Team idea's and opinions will be taken into consideration as it is us as whole who race for the top spot, however, this time, the final word will be coming from HzzrdsFnst 3/6/15 on what is going to occur.
Nascar is a few short days away, this coming weekend is the Bud-Shootout, 8 pm Saturday, EST (last I checked). Daytona 500 is a week away this coming Sunday.
How about an event? It might be short notice, but perhaps on the evening of the Daytona 500, we can organize events to run our own 500 with the team. Soon I would like to have it where we can run events and then post them and also have non-teamates race in our events. Sure this starts to walk outside the original line we drew that we compete more so against one another on team, but we need to widen our areas of competing as well. I am hoping to spread the word among online racers that we are looking to create HzzrdsFnst events that will include anyone who is willing to join. I am maybe thinking this idea will include certain racers who have good stats instead of wreckers coming in and wrecking our events. More to come.... Top
Stats are updated and are in. Team play is down, way down. I noticed while doing stats that the team activity is really slowing. I hope it is a slump and not things to come. HzzrdsFnst77 has finally made it out on top, he has top points, has top poles, has top laps and top wins. He has been playing the most it shows. HzzrdsFnst3 has declined in his percentages, and is holding out in second.
I dug out an old Nascar game called Nascar Heat, it appears to be year 2000 release. It plays really well, looks cool too.This Nascar game has setups that reflect real setups, everything can be changed and on top of that, 16 drivers online with the field of 43 too.
Seeing as the Chase start out was pretty good in racers racing, I think that since a majority of us have computers, use the forum to link up, create our own events.... Playing just Dega & Daytona is fun, yet gets old, lets play California too... so lets set it up where we can all meet to race some more tracks together rather then the odd time.
