Goalies

Martin Biron:  Although Biron didn't have a good team backing him up, he still managed to play some of the best hockey of his career.

Dan Cloutier:  Cloutier had an excellent first half to the season before he got injured.  He led the Canucks to their best ever season with the franchise.

Mathieu Garon:   During the few games Garon played, he recorded his first shutout in his first game and let in only 1 goal in his next game.  Hockey Talk 101 and I expect great things from him in the future.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere:  Giguere played an exceptionally well season and helped the Mighty Ducks to the playoffs for the first time in over 3 years.

Nikolai Khabibulan:  Khabibulan played another great year and probably will continue to play well for a few more years.

Olaf Kolzig:  Kolzig was great for 2 years in a row and should be great next year as well.  He led the Capitals to the playoffs, which they aren't in too much.

Manny Legace:  Legace is one of the most known backups in the NHL.  He played better than some starting goalies and could be one of the best in the league in a few years.

Roberto Luongo:  Not much was expected this year from Luongo but he played at the top of his game and changed most peoples opinions.  I have a strong felling that no one will be underestimating him next year.

Evgeni Nabokov:  Nabokov played another great year and probably will continue to play well for a few more years.

Jose Theodore:  Theodore played the best hockey of his life last year winning the goalie of the year award.  This year wasn't as successful as last year but he still played good.  He is still in the beginning stage of his career as much more is expected from him.

Jocelyn Thibault:  Thibault was an amazing goaltender last year, this year and probably in the next few years as well.  He continues to amaze us all, even though his only support is the Blackhawks.
Marty Turco:  Turco, from my point of view was this years top goalie, leading Dallas to the best in the West.  When I watch him play my mouth drops.  How does he keep them out?  It just amazes me!
