About Peter Gao

Dr. Peter Gao has been in the field of medicine for over 23 years. In 1979, he started five years training in both Western and Chinese Medicine at Shandong Medical University, China. After graduating with a MD degree, he began to practice neurosurgery at University Hospital, the biggest hospital in Shandong Province. At the same time, he received a M.Sc. degree in Neurosurgical Clinical Research. After graduating with a M.Sc. degree from the University of Western Ontario, he opened his acupuncture and TCM clinic in Toronto.

In 1997, Dr. Peter Gao attended Dr. Devi's NAET seminar and became the first certified NAET practitioner in Toronto. Over the years, he has attended various levels of training and found NAET to be highly effective. NAET has become an important part of his healing technique. He is able to diagnose and treat different health problems. He maintains a busy and active practice treating patients from all over the world. In 2001, he was appointed by Dr. Devi as a NAET instructor to re-certify other NEAT practitioners. "I have never seen a person who did not benefit from NAET," he says.

Dr. Peter Gao is a Licensed Acupuncturist, Certified NAET and JMT Practitioner in Ontario, Canada with special interest in food and environmental allergies, immune diseases, asthma, eczema, skin disorders, digestive diseases, IBS, Crohn's disease, ADD/ADHD, autism, children's health problems, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, arthritis, neurological, cancer and difficult diseases. He is an active member of the Canadian Academy of Chinese Traditional Health Sciences and of the World Association of Chinese Medicine.
