THE NIGHT THE LIGHTS WENT OUT... AT ZELLERS !!!

Well actually, this could be called the day the lights went out at Zellers. You see, in the cheapness of Zellers they no longer turn their stores lights on before 9 am even if the store opens at 8 am. For some stores they must run their stores with their lights only at 50% for the whole day.

Now do not let the employees sweet talk you into thinking that they are doing this because they are trying to help the environment, as stated on the HBC.com webpage here. They are doing to save money, in tradition of cutting staff, noW the lights will be cut down. What next the presidents salary cut, of course not we all know they would never do that. But they consider it completly ok to have their comsumers shopping in the dark.
