Remove MSN Messenger

Three options to remove MSN Messenger

Option 1:

1. Click on the start menu and select Run .
2. Copy and paste RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove into the text box and click on OK .
3. After the next reboot MSN will be gone.

Option 2:

Download and install Trillian it has a built in remover. Trillian will combine MSN Messenger, ICQ, Yahoo Messenger, IRC and AOL instant messengers into one program.

Older Versions Only

Open windows explorer and find C:/Program Files/Messenger

Select the folder hit F2 rename the folder to "MessengerOFF"
