30 Movements

Definition: The name given to the great Admiral Yi Soon-Sin of the Lee Dynasty. He was believed to have invented the first armored battleship, which is said to be the precursor of the present day submarine. The reason why this pattern ends with a left hand attack is to symbolize his regrettable death, having no chance to show his unrestrained potentiality checked by the forced reservation of his loyalty to the king.

 

Starting Position: Ready Stance C facing to D.

1. Turn 90° counter clockwise to B into a right back stance while executing a knife hand twin fore arm block.

2. Stepping forward to B, execute a high right knife hand strike in a right walking stance while performing a left palm up block to the forehead.

3. Turn 180° clockwise to A and perform a knife hand guarding block in a left back stance.

4. Moving forwards to A, execute a left high section spear finger thrust in a left walking stance.

5. Turn 90° counter clockwise to D and perform a knife hand guarding block in a right back stance.

6. Turn 180° clockwise to A and perform a guarding block in a left bending stance.

7. Execute a right mid-section side kick to A.

8. Lower the right foot to A and slide towards A in a right back stance while performing a knife hand guarding block.

9. Step forward with the right foot to A then perform a jumping flying side kick towards A

10. Landing in a left back stance, performing a knife hand guarding block towards D.

11. Turn 270° counter clockwise to E into a right back stance while executing a left down block.

12. Move the left foot into a left walking stance while executing a high section 2 hand grab.

13. Drive the right knee up as to strike an opponent while bringing the hands down and striking the right knee.

14. Lower the right foot to the left foot and turning 180° counter clockwise, move the left foot towards F into a right back stance while executing a knife hand guarding block.

15. Execute a right roundhouse kick with the ball of the foot to F.

16. Turning counter clockwise, execute a left spinning back kick to F. Lower the left foot facing DE into a left guarding block.

17. Execute a left roundhouse kick to DE. Lower the left foot to the right foot and move the right to C into a fixed stance while executing a U-shaped block.

18. Jumping up, turn 360° counter clockwise, pulling the feet up. Land with both feet towards C in left back stance while executing a knife hand guarding block.

19. Moving forwards to C with the left foot, execute a low right palm up strike while pulling the left fist to the right shoulder in a left walking stance.

20. Moving the right foot into a right back stance, execute a left low fore arm block and a right back side strike to the temple while facing C.

21.  Stepping forwards to C, execute a right spear finger thrust in a right walking stance.

22. Turn 270° counter clockwise to B, moving with the left foot into a left walking stance while executing a left 2-arm mid-section block.

23. Turn 90° counter clockwise to C, moving the right foot into a sitting stance while executing a middle hammer block with the right hand.

24. Execute a right side strike with the right hand while remaining in the sitting stance.

25. Turning 90° clockwise to A, execute a right side kick to A.

26. Execute a left side kick to A.

27. Lower the left foot into a left back while performing a mid-section X checking block facing B.

28. Step forward with the left foot into a left walking stance while performing a 2-arm scooping block.

29. Move the left foot in line with the right foot and turn 180° clockwise to A while performing a right high block in a right walking stance.

30. Execute a left mid-section reverse punch while maintaining the right walking stance. (Kiyap!)
