Ladder Tournament Information
Open Tournament
To be allowed into the Tournament you must play at least 5 Ladder games and it doesn't matter how many games you have won or lost. There is no restriction on the number of people allowed to play, and this tournament is played as a double elimination in 1v1 style. When playing a game the higher ranked player on the Ladder will host game and select map.
You do not have to sign up for this Tournament, as long as your in the ladder and have played 5 ladder games when the Tournament date comes around. You will recive knowtice when the tournament is coming up and if you don't want into the tournament you are asked to knowtify someone on the Ladder Staff so they can make sure you don't get put in.

Invitational Tournament
This Tournament is only for a maximum of 16 players. The first 4 players choosen will be from the top 8 positions on the Ladder. They will be picked on how well they participate in the Ladder and if they are active in taking part in the Open Tournament. The next 8 are choosen from remaining people from the Ladder and once again are picked on their participation rather then their record. 4 other invitations will go out to players who are not on the Ladder but are active on B-Net and play with players from the Ladder in friendly games. If someone declines their invitation it WILL NOT be given to someone else, there will simply be 1 less player in the Tournament.
This tournament is also played in 1v1 style but is a single elimination. All games will have a specific map you must play on rather then the higher ranked player picking since not everyone has to be from the Ladder. This can also help weaker players win because some players are good at islands while others maybe do better in Fast money. Also the opponents will be picked at random and not from a point system because once again, not everyone is from the Ladder.
As for rewards, if you win the tournament you will be gaurnteed an invitation to the next tournament.

Dagger 2-on-2 Tournament
This tournament is run once a year and allows a maximum of 32 players or 16 teams in. You must be a member of the Ladder to be allowed in and when the tournament date comes around you will recieve an e-mail at least 1 week in advance. This e-mail will tell you how to sign up. Once the sign up process is over all the players will be paired up based on a high ranked player with a low ranked player to help keep balance amoung the teams.
All games are played in 2v2 style and if one person is dropped during game the game continues on unless it was within the first 5 minuits in which case you will pause the game and wait for him to return to battle.net. If he does not return within 5 minuits the game continues and the other player will be on his own. If he returns you regroup and start again with same map settings. If he drops out again consider him gone and continue playing.

Newbie Roundup
Quite simply this tournament is only for newbies or weak players. There is no limit to the amount of participants but entry is dependent on performance in games. This gives players a chance to face off against other players of their skill level in an attempt to claim victory as their own. Depending on the tourney the game could be 1 big FFA or 1v1 games until a winner is chosen.
