"I have always liked having a big dog around the house and loved Elliott's dad - Can. Am. Ch. Abbey Rd. Here Comes The Sun. 

Fortunately Gina McDonnell, Maitland Kennels, had a litter of 6 boys by Sonny and I was fortunate enough to obtain Elliott at 7 weeks of age.  I have never seen a puppy grow so quickly!   Gaining at a rate of 1/2 lb a day and trying to train a puppy that was as big as a full size sheltie at 10 weeks was a real challenge and made for some interesting times.    Thank goodness he was so quick to housebreak! 

Elliott Moose, as he is affectionally called, has achieved his Can. Ch., has two legs on his CD and completed his Therapy Dog testing.   Berners are a wonderful breed but I'm not sure at times whether he's the one that thinks he's a sheltie or the shelties think they are Berners!
