FIGURE 1

 

(1) passes to (3) to initiate the play.

 

(2) moves to the weak side wing position.

 

(3) receives a pass from (1) and looks inside for (4) or (5).

 

(4) posts up.

 

(5) flashes to the high post area.

 
           

 

 

FIGURE 2

 

(1) receives the return pass from (3) and initiate the ball reversal by passing the ball back to the point to (2).

 

(2) moves to the point and receives a pass from (1).

 

(3) passes the ball to (1), and then cuts underneath the backboard to the opposite corner.

 

(4) posts up.

 

(5) posts up.

 

 

 

 

FIGURE 3

 

(1) moves to the weak side wing position.

 

(2) dribbles to the wing and passes the ball to (3) in the corner.

 

(3) receives a pass from (2) and looks inside for (4) or (5).

 

(4) flashes to the high post area before or after (5), it doesn’t matter (“X-cut”).

 

(5) flashes to the high post area before or after (4), it doesn’t matter (“X-cut”).
